our 84-acre Quarter Horse Farm is located in Penfield Township in Southern Lorain County, Ohio.  At the present time, ten registered American Quarter Horses in various stages of development and training call "Dunlap Quarter Horses" home.

Our goal is to raise quiet, gentle, good-minded riding horses with correct confirmation, talent, and great dispositions.  We raise our horses to become beloved family members as well as valued pets, show prospects and service animals.  Our desire is to promote the respect, appreciation, knowledge and proper care of horses.  Through these values and attributes, we believe, horses become willing partners as companions, competitors and contributors to healthy lifestyles.

Our broodmares were selected for their temperament, talent, breeding and beauty.  The stallions chosen to breed our mares are selected with the same attributes in mind as well as confirmation attributes that complement those of the mare.  We also look for stallions with resumes that include offspring with good performance records in the show ring. 

 Stallions selected to sire our foals include: Barpassers Image, Blazing Hot, Last Detail, Dress Western and A Good Machine.

We care for all of our horses entirely by ourselves.  We handle our foals daily from the time they hit the ground and keep a detailed health history on each of them.   We have a very small operation and know our horses well.  This allows us to share specifics with you to help ensure that we both find the "right fit"!
